NATIONAL SAVINGS
The Blenheim postal district, which has formed the good habit of exceeding its National Savings quota by some 50 per cent., continued to deliver the goods as usual during the week ended on Saturday last (says the Marlborough Express. The quota for the district is £B2O weekly, and the amounl received totalled £1229 18/. Blenheim, Havelock, Picton and Ward exceeded their quotas. The amounts received at each office are as follows, quotas being given in parentheses: Blenheim £634 17/ (£576); Havelock, £42 10/ (£42); Picton, £+92 17/ (£112); Rai Valley, £1 10/ £26); Seddon, £36 11/ (£45); Ward £tl 13/ (£l9). Kaikoura has not missed investing its quota since the campaign was commenced 22 weekf ago.
