TRAMWAY ELECTION
LABOUR VICTORY The poll for the* election of the Christchurch Tramway Board took place on Thursday last, Labour winning seven seals out of the eight contested. Mr A. A. McLachlan (Independent) defeated Mr G. T. Thurston (Labour) and Mr W. J. Walter (Indpendent) was elected unopposed. The following was the voting in the poll: Central Sub-District G.
