We have received the following leticr from the joint trustees —Dr. T. Fletcher Telford and Mr P. J. Tworney —in connection with the above appeal: •‘We wish to express to our subscribers our very deep appreciation of the magnificent response made to this ear’s appeal on behalf of our leper friends iat Makogai. At the same time we must - xpress to your esteemed paper our sincere thaniks for helping us with this most worthy object. It has been mainly through the medium of the Press that we were able to got in touch with ail classes of people of the different denominations.
