MINIATURE RIFLES
A new range has been in «t-died by the Kaikoura Miniature Rifle Club and a new rifle purchased, the shooting on this account being quickly catered for on Friday night. For the ladies’ trophy Miss Gordon (6) 61, Mrs Shannon (7) 60, and Mrs McKenzie (7) 60, tied for first place. In the shoot-off Mrs Shannon (7) 69 proved the winnci, and the scores of the runners-up were Miss Gordon (6) 68, Mrs McKenzie (7) 68. The men’s trophy was won by G. McKenzie (2) 67. The scores for the aggregate and trophy are as follows: Ladies—Mrs Jorgensen 52, Mrs Kennedy 48, Mrs Storer 54, Miss O’Callaghan 57, Miss Gordon 61, Mrs McKenzie 60, Mrs Timms 56, Mrs Shannon 60, Mrs T.
