AVith a diary in his possession containing the signatures and seals of the Mayors of a number of cities and towns in the Dominion, which he had visited, Albert Edward Arthur Hamilton, a labourer of no fixed abode, aged 27, was charged at the Police Court this morning with being an idle and disorderly person, and was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. The accused said he had been walking through the country lecturir g in schools and factories and had commissions from several Invercargill firms.
