UNEMPLOYED FUND.

It is pleasing to note the generous response of local residents in sending parcels for the Unemployment Stall, to be conducted by Mrs A. B. Clark, at West End. on Saturday next, April 30. Mrs Clark desires it to be distinctly understood that the stall is being run in connection with the major movement organised to raise £4OO. All goods will be sold at Uncm. ployment prices, thus serving the dual purpose of providing cheap goods and the money being used for providing further work. The unemployed men have offered to assist on the day of the stall, and it is hoped that there will be a large array of foodstuffs, etc. You may not have money to make a cash donation, but there are many who have farm produce, etc.. which will be gratefully accepted to assist the worthy object of providing work for local men during the winter months. Some cf these men have been known to you since childhood. Mrs A. B.
