WEATHER REPORTS.
Mr A. Glenn forwards the following weather report for Kaikoura, for the period ending 9 a.m. on April 30: Rain fell on 15 days, the total fall being 1.70 in. The maximum fall occurred on April 10, 45 points. Mr E. E. Weavers forwards the following weather report for Lynton Downs:—The rainfall for the month ending April totalled 1.43 inches. Rain fell on ton days, the maximum fall occurring on April 9, 39 points. There were N.W. winds from the 12th. occasionally. without rain. On April 30 a heavy N.E. wind with slight cold showers, proved destructive to trees and fl ovv e r ga rd ens.
