PLUNKET SOCIETY.
EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. A very successful euchre party and Jramce, under the auspices of the Cheviot •Branch of the Plunkct Society, was held in the Cheviot Public Hall on Monday, when those present spent a very enjoyable time with cards am! dancing. The committee is to be congratulated on the very complete arrangements made for the comfort of those attending the function. The winners of the prizes were Miss F. Wilkinson and Mr J. Paton, the consolation prizes being awarded to Miss Dailey and Mr A. Meikle. Music for the dancing was contributed by Mr W. Ross Smith, Mr W. Hughes, Miss O. Hughes, and Miss M. McDonald. A dainty supper was provided, and dancing was continued until a late hour.
