DOMETT BACHELORS AND SPINSTERS BALL.
The Domett Bachelors’ and Spinsters’ Ball was held on Friday last in the Domett Hall. There was a fair attendance and a very enjoyable time was spent by all present. The music which was much appreciated was provided by Brocklcbank’s band from Kaiapoi. Extras were played by Messrs Burt and 'The Hall was very nicely decorated and an excellent supper and light refreshments were daintily served. Miss Ashworth and Mr .1. Jackman were M. C-’s.. Amongst those present were:—Mesdames Jackman, McLaren, Robinson. Dalgcty, Burgess, Dumpling, Ashworth, Misses Wilkinson, Harbrom, Grey, Jackman (3) Fitzsimmons, Smith (2) Seaton, Simpson,, Dailey, Martin, Ashworth (2), Hob' (2), Upritchard (4) Townsend. Forsyth, Fleming, and Messrs McLaren, Robinson, Dalgcty, Burgess, Ferguson, Wilkinson, Jackman (2), Grey (2 Powis; Fitzsimmons (2), Childs. Gceson, Mulligan, Oborn, Noonan, Smith (2), Denton (2), Forsyth and Gibson (2).
