OBITUARY
MRS MARY MOLLOY The death took place at Kelburnie, Wellington, yesterday, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs D. Leahy, of Mrs Mary Molloy, widow of the late Mr Patrick Molloy of Reefton. The deceased, who was practically the oldest identity of this district, was a native of County Cork, and 91 years of age, had been in failing health for seme time past, but strnnge as it might seem, the deafness that attacked her some years ago, passed off and her hearing was as keen rfk ever and her sight to good Mfhfc she could read without the aid of glasses practically until her passing. The late Mrs Melloy arrived in Greymouth over 70 years ago, and for 60 years had resided in Reefton, leaving here some four years «go to live with, her daughter in Kel burnie. She is survived by a family of six.four sons and two daughters, the latter being Mrs D. Leahy, Kelburnie, and Mother St Egbert, Mission Convent, Dannevirke. The family will rec ive the sincere condolences of a wide circle of friends. The sons are Messrs Richard, Daniel and Patrick, Reefton, and James, Sydney. The funeral will take place to-morrow morning at Wellington.- 1
