JWINDING UP OF COM. PANY MOOTED. (United Press Assn—By Electric Telegraph—Copyngnt.) London, October 17 At a meeting of the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, Sir Arthur Maxwell, presiding, said thjt the moratorium granted by the company’s di« rectors was ending on December 31.
The directors were unable to make a definite statement about the position arising then, butt’iei prospect of evolving a scheme was remote, and it might be necessary very shortly to consider winding up the company.
