Hill Stakes —Chatham 1, Closing Time 2. Nightly 3. Won comfortably by three lengths : time 1.39. The Brush Hurdles was won by Newbold Boy, which just beat Green* sea by a neck. In the High Weight Handicap, Capris was fifth in the First Division and Dole was third in the Second Division.
