At Brookline, Little added the American amateur golf championship to the British today, defeating Goldman 8/7. SHUTE’S SUCCESS. At Riverdale, New Jersey, Shute won the Riverdale open tournament with 283. Laffoon tied for sixth with 296 and Wood was seventh with 297.
