(Per United press Assn.) Decision of Assessment Court Auckland, March 28 Holding that no valuation list a 9 requited by law had been prepared, the Magistrate (Mr M’Kean) to day decided that a valuation list must be prepared for the Assessment Court before May 14, and appointed another valuer for the Mount Eden Borough. At a recent sitting of the Assess' ment Court the borough valuer saic. that what be had done was to make a 1 I readjustment of values and allowed I | nearly ail the old valuations to stand. 1 The admission that he had not made | any revaluations of property, but had allowed the previous valuations to stand,' waß made by Ewen Alison, jun , valuer for the Mount Eder, Borough, at a sitting of the Court earlier this month. He said he considered that land had little or no value, people not having the cash to speculate. There was a large number of objectors.
