FATAL INJURIES.
(United Press Assn.) HAWERA, Last Night. Fatal injuries were received this morning by Mr J. Mills, married, a middle-aged carpenter, engaged in the new construction work on the National Hairy Association’s premises. A number of heavy principals supporting the roof were being placed in position and one slipped, pinning Mills to the ground. The man was hospitalled with three fractured ribs, one of which pierced his lung, and he died this afternoon about seven hours after admission.
