WEDDING

WRIGHT-PERRY A very quiet wedding was celebrated at Inangabua Landing at the residence of Mr and Mrs W Wright, yesterday afternoon, when Daphne, second daughter of Mr and Mrs A Perry, of Black's Point, was united in wed’ock to Leo, elder son of Mr and Mrs W Wright Landing. I The bride was prettily dressed in a close biting frock of pink satin, trimmed with gold lace, and a beautifully embroidered veil. She carried a dainty bouquet of Phlox Drummondi and sweet peas. The bride was attended by her sister Mavis, who wore a frock of powder blue satin, with hat and shoes to tone, and carried a bouquet of pink and white asters. The best mao was Mr Keith Wright, brother of the bridegroom. At the conclusion of the ceremony, which was per formed by the Rev W Fairlie Evans, he wedding party were entertained at the residence of the bridegroom’s mother, and the young couple left la'er for Christchurch and Timaru, where the honeymoon will be gpent.
