Mrs Thos. Dellaca received word yesterday of tbe death of her sister. Jessie, wife ol Mr Thomas Hobbs, of Khandailah, Wellington. Tbe deceased lady, who had been ir tailing health for some time past, spent ber childhood days in Reefton, and was a general favourite. She leaves besides bci husband two daughters, Mrs A. G Suiter and Miss Mary Hobbs, while a sou was tiagically killed some three years ago. Tbe late Mis Hobbs was about 50 years of age.
