Cronadun Football Club

Annual Meeting The annual general meeting of the above was held on Tuesday I evening last. There was a large attendance of members present and j proceedings throughout were very | enthusiastic. In the absence of the President, Mr F. Archer was voted to the chair. I Prior to the commencement of the routine business, the Chairman, referred to the loss the Club had sustained through the tragic death of its late captain, Mr Sid Smith, and

moved a vote of condolence with the relatives of deceased, all present standing in silence. The balance sheet showed the Club to be in a sound financial position. j The following officers were elected for the ensuing year - Patron, T Irving; President, F W Archer; Secretary, N McMahon; Club Captain, F Archer; Committee, L Hunter, J O’Malley, R Smith, F Archer and T O’Donnell. Selectors: Club Captain, Field Captain and Mr F W Archer, Delegates, Messrs W Barry, W i Archer and T Irving.

Coach, Rev Father Aldridge. It was resolved that delegates be instructed to vote in favour of a Senior competition only during the coming season.
