Snowy River Sluicing Company Limited The Directors of the Snowy River Sluicing Co. Ltd, who went to the West Coast on Saturday for the specific purpose of meeting Mr E. W- Spencer, thr G neral Manager of the Conso'idat! d Goldfields of New Zealand Ltd, returned last evening, and report that arising out of a most cordial discussion, a mutually satisfactory decision was reached, as the result of which, the intake of the Snowy River Company’s water race will be at the point near that which is known as ! the Horse Bridge, where is was i originally planned to take its water. | Mr Learmont, of Greymoutb, the Company’s Engineer, who was present, will now proceed with the survey, and the preparation of the specifications for the water race to be constructed over a distance of ! about seven miles.
