PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr James of Wanganui, who is interested in several mining propositions was in Reefton yesterday, and left on return this morning. Mr H. WaUleben, who has spent the last six weeks in Reefton, left this morning on return to Nelson, ccompanied by Miss Wills, who will a pend her vacation with her relatives The death occurred on Tuesday at his late residence, Gover Street, New Plymouth, of Thomas Griffin, a ressdentof Three Channel Flat in the days when dredging was in full swing. His widow and a grown-up family of two sons and two daughters survive him.
