Reed 8 55 a m London, May 16 Lancashire in their second innings made 165 runs R. Tyldesley 25, Eckersley 38. Bowling analysis : Fairfax 2 wick els for 14 runs, A’Beckett 1 for 15, Grimmeit 2 for 71, Hornibrook 5 for 38.

Australia in the second innings lost 2 wickets for 137 runs. Jackson 4G, Richardson 39 Bradman not out 48, Bowling—Sebbles 1 for 18, R. Tyldesley 1 for 19. The mateh was drawn.

Reed 9 55 a.m. The Lancashire match ended tamely in a draw to-dav. The play was confined to four and a half hours. IT ! mbrook gave an excellent display of bowling, but the brightest incident of I fie day was the scoring by R. Tyldesley of 25 in as many minutes.

Australia had to make 227 in 160 minutes to win, and made a sporting bid for victory, but McDonald and Sibbles commanded their respect and the chances gradually faded. Jackson was caught, but Bradman gave an aggressive display.

Richardson attacked the bowling, but played his leg in front of a straight bail immediately after hitting Hopwood for six.
