OVER WATERED BUTTER.
DAIRY COMPANY FINED. (-Per United Press Assn.) DUNEDIN, Last Night. At the City Police Court today, before Mr H. W. Bundle, S.M., Waitaki Dairy Company, Ltd., was charged, with selling butter which did not comply wirth the standard. ] Mr W. D. Taylor, who prosecuted, said the Company had been previously convicted and had been warned four Sample analysis contained 17.5 per cent, of water, whereas the Act allowed only 16 per cent. A. N. Haggitt., for the company, said thait every possible precaution was taken to provide against anything of the sort. The company pleaded guilty under the circumstances. A fine of £25 was imposed with
