It was decided to endorse the Directors’ recommendation that a dividend of ten per cent for the past half vear be paid. The meeting then adjourned until Monday evening next. Austria is still suffering from the market’s obsession that Australian butter is markedlv inferior to that of New Zealand. Prices of the former have dropped 8s per hundredweight in a fortnight. Australia House explains that this is principally owing to the heaviness of supolies, also to New Z aland butter which baa been held, iat present being leleasgd.
