Reed 9 IS a m London, Dec 6 The Times’ Berlin correspondent states that the police, finding on a country road near Regenabury, a deserted burned motor car, in which . there was a man’s charred body. I assumed it was an accident. They | identified the owner through its number plate, and the wife claimed to recognise the body aa that of her husband and took it to Leipzig for burial, but the police, becoming suspicious, watched the wife and caught her telephoning to her husband at Strassburg, where he f was arrested. It is alleged he confessed to having murdered an unknown man on the public highway, and then set fire to the car with the body inßide it, after which he went to Strassburg. It is further alleged that the crime was committed to enable the wife to Becure the husband’s life insurance, amounting to £7,250. Hatry Frauds. Further Charges Pending. Reed 105 am' London, Dec 6 At the conclusion of the evidence on the original eleven charges, Roome, for the prosecution, announced that there were a further four charges against Hatry and his colleagues, of obtaining by false pretences sums totalling £\, 350 in ] connection with the Iron Industries 1 Limited. I
