NO. 8 LEVEL NORTH has been extended 23 feet on good reef track, and have now one foot of stone in the face. STOPING has been carried on between Nos. 8 and 9 Levels. A considerable amount of filling and repair ng has been done to the slopes* also to the mine generally. BATTERY RETURNS—94° tOOS of quartz have been taken to the battery and crushed for a return, from the battery, of 262 ozs 12 dwts melted ?old, and from cyanide 112 ozs 16 dwts bullion. Total 375 ozi 8 dwts valued at £1443 8s 3d.
