Dean Appeal Case.
(By Telegraph — Press A?sociaion.) Wellington, This Day. The itntion of leave to appeal in the case of Regina v. Minnie Dean was argued in the Appeal Court to-day. All of the five Judges were present. Dr Findlay appeals in support of the motion, McDonald, Crown Prosecutor, Invercargill, and Gully, Crown Prosecutor, Wellington, for the Crown. Findlay in opening the case stated that he was unable to support the first ground of motion, and he could not contend that evidence as to the infant Horn.«by had been improperly admitted. He would contend, however, that the «vi» dence as to the other infants and finding of skeletons at the Larches had been improperly admitted. The argument is proceeding. Later. In the Dean case the Court decided to Vicar the Crown in reply at 10.80 oa Monday lnorniiag.
