Roughly speaking, though, the party will proceed from the Peake in a westerly direotion, traversing the country as yet unexplored between routas taken by Giles in 1875, Gosse in 1878, and Forrest in 1874. This represents a track aouie 1300 miles in length by 200 miles in width.
