THAMES WELL BEATEN

The Hauraki Plains representative cricket team scoied a signal victory over Thames on Saturday last when, after piling up 318 runs for the loss of nine wickets and one retired, the Plains bowlers dismissed the Thames team for 156 runs.
B. O’Neil, opening for Plains made 74, Barr carried his bat for 50 and A.' Wilson accounted for 40, which included five fours and a six. For Thames T. Cleave (32) and N. Howard (25), were the best scorers, both wickets being taken by A. Wilson who secured three for 19, R. Fisher taking four for-24.
