Scores were as follows, with Waitakaruru names placed first:— Ladies’ singles: Mrs Dibble defeated Miss J. Candy, 7—3; Mrs W. Hegh defeated Miss L». Poland, 7—3; Mrs Smith ’defeated Miss E. Patterson, 7—3; Mrs Smythe defeated Mrs Sole, 7—6. Ladies’ doubles: Mrs Dibble and Mrs Hegh defeated Miss J. Candy and Miss L. Poland, 7—6; Mrs Smith and Mrs Smythe defeated Mrs Sole and Miss Patterson, 7—4. Men’s singles: W. Hegh lost to AMcLean, 4—9; K. Paton lost to T. Samuels, 7—9; N. Paton defeated PConnor, 9—4; J.
