RESIDENTS TO PETITION ’ COUNCIL TO.-.. INVESTIGATE : A resolution that the matter of the flooded area «of Paeroa borough during the recent floods should be refdtered to the works committee for investigation was carried at the De- ' comber meeting of the Paeroa Boroughs Council. ' The town clerk, Mr M. C. Baker, ‘ read to the meeting a letter from Mr ■; / EL'Brocklehurst, of Thames road, stating that at a later date he would be Z presenting a petition from residents in the affected' area praying that steps < be taken to minimise the flooding.
