ANOTHER FAREWELL
NURSES’ HOME EVENING PRESENTATION TO MATRON A farewell evening tendered to the matron, Miss M. Lange, was held in the nurses’ home, Coromandel, on November 28 last.
During the evening a presentation of a fob watch was made by a junior nurse, Miss M. Potae, on behalf of the nursing staff of the hospital. Mr C. Rae, head porter, also made a presentation of a paua inkstand on behalf of the domestic staff.
Mrs Keefe gave an item, “People Will Talk,” which was enjoyed by all. The music was supplied by Miss Rosie Williams.
