Public Notice COUNTY OF COROMANDEL Pursuant to Section 12 of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1925, and Amendments thereto; I hereby give notice that the following persons have been duly nominated as Candidates for the Office of Councillors for the various Ridings of the Coromandel County. COUNTY OF COROMANDEL BRIDGE RATE THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1926 Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Bodies-Loans Act 1926 and Amendments thereto, if any, the Coromandel County Council has resolved that, in addition to any general and- Special rates authorised by the Counties’ Act, 1920, a Special rate to be called a Bridge Rate be made and levied for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of bridges under the jurisdiction of the said Council. Such rate shall not, in any one year exceed the amount of One Halfpenny in the Pound on the Capital Value of all Rateable property in the County and such rate being of such annual amount as the Council may each year and from year to year fix by Special Order. I, Ernest Deeble, Chairman of the Coromandel County Council, hereby give notice in pursuance of Section 11 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, the Local Elections and Polls Act and Amendments thereto and of all other acts thereto pertaining, that a poll of the Ratepayers of the County of Coromandel will be taken on the above mentioned proposal on Saturday, November 18, 1950, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the undermentioned polling places:— Coromandel, Colville, Port Jackson, Port Charles, Kennedy Bay, Whangapoua, Ahimia, Kereta, Kuaotunu, Whitianga, Coroglen, Whenuakite, Tairua. QOUNTY OF COROMANDEL NOTICE OF ELECTION OF COUNCILLOR Pursuant to Section 11 of the Local Election and Polls Act, 1925, and amendments thereto I hereby give notice that as the nomination for Whenuakite Riding equalled the vacancy, I therefore declare Mr William John Hare to be duly elected as Councillor for the Wfienuakite Riding of the Coromandel County.
