FIRE PREVENTION
TRAINING COURSE HELD
NGATEA OFFICER ATTENDS
In response to the invitation of Mr F. J. Perham, conservator of forests, it had been arranged on behalf of the board to send Mr L E. F. Wilton, engineering assistant and fire officer at Ngatea to attend a three-day course on fire prevention training at Auckland, stated Mr G. Davies, chief engineer to the Hauraki Catchment Board, at its September meeting held recently in Te Aroha. Mr Davies informed the meeting that from the itinerary set out. the course would be very comprehensive and considerable information should be got whilst attending it. Mr Wilton was to prepare a full report for reference and for the board’s information.
