NEW EXCHANGE
WAITAKARURU POST OFFICE WORK NOW IN PROGRESS Up to the present time the counter staff in the Waitakaruru Post Office has had to transact all business with the ceaseless calls of the exchange operators distracting attention, but now at long last much needed improvements are being carried out. f A new exchange room with entirely new equipment to cope with the everincreasing new telephone connections, is in course of erection and should be ready for occupation before the end of the year.
