COMPETES AT PAEROA
ATHLETIC CLUB’S OPENING
A novelty at the opening of the season of the Paeroa Amateur Athletic and Cycling duh upiou the domain on Wednesday evening . last was the appearance of a Wind competitor, James Wißieans.
Williams ihas been a regular competitor at the sports meetings of the Institute for the Blind, in Auckland, and last won the shot put. On Wednesday evening Williams ran in tbe 75 ytards event and guided himself with a <wooden batten threaded on to a rope stretched along the track.
