COROMANDEL RUGBY
OLD BOYS DEFEATED WIN FOR THE HOME TEAM A good Rugby football match was played on the Coromandel domain on Saturday when Coromandel team ran out the winners against an Old Boys’ team by 26 points to six.
The game was played in the usual friendly spirit and the spectators all enjoyed the fun which cropped up at times.
For Coromandel K. Notman, N. Davis and D. Beach each scored two tries. Eric Gamble scored one. D. Beech converted one try and R. Fuller kicked a penalty goal.
For Old Boys Delico scored one try and Lord kicked a penalty goal. Mr J. Ngapo refereed the game.
