being made with the inspection was too slow. He stressed the importance of conserving all the water possible as a shortage might result in the loss of thousands of pounds to the district. The county clerk, Mr L. E. Smith, pointed out that where willful waste of water was discovered, the council had the power to instal a meter. After the question had been thoroughly discussed, it was resolved to advertise, advising property owners that those found wasting water would receive their supply through a meter in the future.
