FEDERATED INSTITUTES
THAMES-HAURAKI DISTRICT
Present at the Thames Hauraki Plains District Federation of Women’s Institutes executive meeting recently were Mesdames N. L. Lithgow (in the chair), F. Symes, C. Marceau, M. W. Crawford, M. McCombe, N. Scott, E. Clark, V. M. Goldsworthy and A. M. Isdale.
Arrangements were finalised in connection with the arts and crafts display and Thelma Bax and Crawford cup competitions for the forthcoming council meeting and for the drama evening on the same day. It was resolved that Miss M. Escott, of Castor Bay, who will speak on institute drama during the afternoon, be judge at the drama evening.
