WATER FOR MILKINO SHEDS
NO EXTENSION FROM HOUSE
“Yopr application per meter reader to have the use of the house wnter heater extended in order that you may use the heater for dairying has been declined,” wrote the manager of the Thames Valley Electric-Power Board to a farmer at Waitakaruru, the letter being placed Before the October meeting of .the board held at Te Aroha. The board’s letter went on to state that under no circumstances could the board permit such a method to operate. The method was most inefficient and encouragement could not be given to that method of procedure. Domestic water must be cut off fi om 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. If the appFcant needed hot water in the shed then he was advised to make arrangements for the installation of a heater ir the milking shed, concluded the board’s manager.
