AMBULANCE FOR PAEROA
PUBLIC MEETINC TO BE HELD A public meeting is to be called in Paeroa at the end of this month for the purpose of orgamisising a campaign for the collection of funds to enable an ambulance to be purchased for (Paieroa. The * above decision was (made at a meeting held in Paeroa on Monday evening last between the management committee of the Paeroa Rugby Football Union and a subcommittee of St. John Ambulance Association of Paeroa. From estimates given to the meeting it was considered 'that a minimum sum of £2OOO would be required for the purchase of an
ambulance. The 'Rugby union was
assured that, in its endeavour to raise the money in the shortest possible time, It would receive the full support of the St. John Ambulance Association.
