STORM DAMAGE
TO TREAT AS URGENT MR SUTHERLAND’S REQUEST He had taken up the ma tter of the storm damage done in Goro- ' mandel county with the Minister of Works, stated Mr A. <S. Sutherland, member for Hauraki. in a i letter to the Coromandel County Council, which was read at the September meeting of the council. Mr Sutherland stated that he had asked that the mlatter be treated as, urgent. Mr Sutherland also said he had been sorry to see in. the paper that the bridge rate had not been carried as there was no doubt the bridges needed reconstructing in ’the county.
