Morrison, T. Coribett and D. Morrison. The Thames dubs proved decidedly •superior in the men’s team#, winning by 47 sets to 17 sets, C. TROPHIES PRESENTED FIRE BRIGADE WINS . The Thames Fire Brigade' Table Tennis -Cluib ran out the winners iii' •both the A and B grades iiL the inters club competitions held during the 1950 season under the auspices of a the ■ Thames Valley Table Tennis Association. Two handsome trophies have been donated to the association for yearly presentation to the winners of the competition. For the A grade a cup has been .presented by Mr J. J. Craig:, of Paeroa, to be -known -as the t John Craig cup and’ for the B grade a cup has been presented by Mr E. Tliomp- ' son, of Te Aroha, to be known as the Eddie Thompson cup. These trophies were presented to the Fire Brigade club at Hikutaia on Saturday night last by Mrs J. J. Craig after Mr Craig had congratulated 'them upon their double win Mir J. W. Doddrell replied oil behalf of the Fire Brigade club. . .
