Miss Laura Robinson and Miss Esther Lee have left Whitianga to begin tile special course at the Teachers Training. College, Auckland. Miss Lee has been assisting at Coroglen School. * Miss Robinson has for some years been prominent in youth and Girl Guide work in the Coromandel peninsula. She is district. Guide commission for the peninsula area and Bfown Owl of the Mercury Pack.

. At a pleasant afternoon tea party held at Mirs R. A. Smith’s residence Miss Robinson was' the guest of honour.

Wishing her the best of health and happiness in the. future, on behalf of Tawny Owl and the: Bffownie pack# 'Brownies Sonia Lee and Mjargaret Moss presented Miss Robinson with a bouquet of stock and freezing and a gift of handkerchiefs. On behalf .of the local . Girl Guide Association Mrs A. Chaney presented Miss Robinsbn with a nylon brush- and comb set; ahd “a, posy of violets and daphne. ..
