PAEROA GETS GRANT OF £39
NEW BOOKS BEING PURCHASED
A grant of £39 for the purchase of books for the library at the Paeroa District High School had been made by the Education Department, stated Mr G. H. Gubbins, headmaster, at the August meeting of the school committee. Mr Gubbins reported that he had already selected certain suitable bodes, payment for which would be met out of the money granted by the department. The committee endorsed, the headmasters’ action..
