ANNUAL MEETING
PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH COROMANDEL STATION THE ELECTION OF MANAGERS The annual meeting of the Coro-mandel-Whitianga Presbyterian Home ■Mission Station was held in St. Andrew’s church, Coromandel,. on July 25 when the moderator, the Rev. H. W. Hitchcock of Thames, presided over a good attendance including members of the congregation from Colville.
Reports on behalf of the various organisations were read as follows: — Ladies’ guild, Miss N. B. Mitchell, president,, and Mrs A. Todd, honorary secretary and treasurer. Board of managers, Mr R. A. McNeil, honorary secretary and treasurer. The 'Rev. R. E. Leggatt also gave a comprehensive report on his activities as home missionary.
The election of managers for the year T 950-51 resulted in the retiring members being re-elected, namely:— Miss N. B. Mitchell, Mrs A. Todd, Messrs W. Crawford, Goudie, J. Gbudie, W. J. Gamble, A. J. McNeil, and R. A. McNeil, the last- named being appointed hon. secretary and treasurer. In addition to the above two new members were elected, these being Messrs L. Watson and N. A. Turner.
Following the completion of formal business supper was dispensed by the ladies.
