FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY

MATCHES ON THE DOMAIN

NO SENIOR COMPETITION GAMES

Rugby football matches in which teams of clubs of the Paeroa Rugby Football Union will be engaged in on Saturday next are as follows: — Senior Matches There will be no senior Rugby competition match on Saturday but it has been left with the United club to arrange a match to be played on the Paeroa domain on Saturday next at 2.15 p.m.

Knockout Compietition

A junior knockout competition will commence on the Paeroa domain on Saturday next, August 5, when the United team will play West on No. 1 ground at 2.30 p.m. Netherton juniors have a bye.

Third Grade

On Saturday next at Waihi at 11.30 a.m. the Paeroa third grade representative Rugby team will play the Waihi third grade representative team. The Paeroa team will be:—

J. Schuler (captain), L. Quayle, A. Carter, M. Nield, B. McCollum, T. Nicholls, T. Nield, K. Parker (vicecaptain), S. Avery, E. Bancroft, W. Vince, B. Coldicutt, K. Godwin, P. Gary, G. Johnson. Emergencies:—W. Bosselmann, B. Peacock and G. Lee.

Players are requested to Isupply their own black shorts. The bus will leave the domain at 10.45 aun.

PRIMARY SCHOOL RUGBY

VALLEY V. STH. AUCKLAND

On the Paeroa domain on Saturday next commencing at 12.30 p.m. the Thames Valley Primary School Rugby Union’s senior and junior representative teams will meet the senior and

junior representative teams of the South Auckland Primary Schools Rugby Union. The junior match will commence at 12.30 p.m. and the senior match at 1.30 p.m.

FINAL MATCH TO BE PLAYED AUGUST 19 The final match of the Paeroa Rugby Football Union’s senior competition, Netherton v. West, will be played on Saturday, August 19. This decision was made on Monday night last at the meeting of the management committee of the Rugby Union when it was intimated that on August 5 it would not be possible for the West club to field a team.
