THE GREAT BENYON
REVUE OF MAGIC
A HOST OF SURPRISES ’
After many tours around the World The Great Benyon and illusionist has gained all the opportunities he required to elaborate his arts? Thus he comes back to New Zealand and will commence a short season at the Regent theatre, Paeroa on Monday and Tuesday, 7th and Bth August. The Great Benyon is head and shoulders all other artists in this particular line. He is bringing with him a new company, and new illusions and many of the latter are highly spoken of, and the whole of his performance is described as something out of the ordinary. The Great Benyon show is described as a revue of magic, a term which permits the employment of colourful and elaborate settings and himself is the presiding genius throughout in artless manner and in quick succession he presents illusion after illusion as well as sleight-of-hand tricks in generous profusion and of divers kind.
The Great Benyon apparently does strange things, makes matter out of will power. Reads the innermost thoughts and forestalls, destiny tell his clients things that will help to mould his future. Many sceptics go to his performances but all go away marvelling. Business problems, domestic problems, problems in every work of art are answered by this man, who claim the concentration of willpower are his only aid many times people have set themselves out to trip him up, but they have been met and dealt with in a way that has served only to convert the sceptic. The Great Benyon is travelling an enormous quantity of paraphernalia necessary for the wonderful illusions of which he is the creator and he will present to the public of New Zealand something new in the art of magic. Box Plans are now open at Bond and Bond Radio shop.—P.B.A.
