CYCLE CHECK
TO BE DOMINION WIDE SAFETY OF THE PUBLIC WILL COMMENCE AUGUST 1 Mr W. iF. Hackett, traffic inspeotor iof Raerota, has advised the Gazette that it is proposed by the (Transport Department to conduct a Dominian wide check during 'the forthcoming month ion all cycles and their equipment. The check will commence on August 1.
It is apparent that cyclists do not realise the extreme danger they run not qnly to themselves but to others, by imt complying with the regulations which are laid down for their safety.
Foremost in this matter are those who ride their cycles at night without any kind of light visible forward of their cylcles. This light march be attached to the cycle. These offenders
