Heroa Not Hioeroa Similarity in. names led to confusion at the Manawatu Hunt Club’s ’ meeting at Awapuni on Saturday, a j candidate for the Tararua Hack HanI dicap being telegraphed as Hoeroa, I whereas it should have been Heroa. , The fact that Hoeroa does the major ' portion of his racing at the lower end jOf this island certainly suggested, that it was he who was engaged, but it was Heroa, a five T year-old gelding by Te Hero from Miss Mestor, who is owned and > trained by Mr Harvey Evans, of Paeroa, who went to the post. There was also a mix-up in re- ' spect to My Beau and My Boy in the 1 concluding event, both of whom originally raced up this way. However, it was the former, who is now with J. J. Waller, at Awapuni, who wai the runner—and winner.
