Mrs W. Allen and her daughter, Frances, of Waitakaruru are enjoying a holiday in Christchurch.
Nurse D. E. Steen of the Cook hospital, Gisborne, has been spending the week-end with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Steen of Maramarua. Nurse Steen returned to Gisborne by plane. Mrs R. Anderson of Ohinewai has been spending a week’s holiday with her mother, Mrs G. Robertson of Maramarua.
Mr and Mrs G. Heaven and Mr W. G. Robertson of Maramarua have just returned from a motor tour of Northland.
Mift-g M. Goodwin of Thames spent the week-end with Miss Pat Donaldson of Waitakaruru.
Mr and Mrs J. S. McClune of Mangatarata are spending a holiday at the Mount, Tauranga.
Mr and Mrs G. Donaldson and Miss Jean Williams of Waitakaruru are enjoying a holiday at Helensville. Mrs R. Burke of Mangatarata has returned home, accompanied by her little grandson Robert, after spending five weeks with her daughter, Mi’s W. R. Rigg of Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs Bert Heigh of Waitakaruru are having a fortnight’s holiday, first at Auckland, then at Huntly.
